that was ben turpin joseph, he made a fortune out of being like that, they say he had his eyes insured for a million dollars in case they became straight.

Also a Hebburn connection as Stans dad Arthur Jefferson was involved with the Theatre Royal.So there's a fair chance young Stan visited the theatre.
