It was good today to see Englands cricket team in India wearing black arm bands in the passing of Sir Tom Moore.How different to the English premiere league clubs who showed very little respect but all took to the knee to support the evil BLM.They should be ashamed.

On another what about Joe Root, if he keeps on going as he is and we win against India, and then the Aussies, it maybe "arise, Sir Joe ?

Didn’t want to respond, but happy that others agree together
We are fed up with the BLM . As for myself TL, I feel it has set race relations back years. We are fed up with it. You have not long joined the Hebburn site, but disagree with any post that is not as they say is woke. I know I should ignore him, but TL needs to know everyone does not agree with him.

Really, I don’t think my comment was ‘soapbox’ personally I think TL takes every opportunity to disagree with most posts especially anyone being negative about the organisation BLM. We shall agree to disagree, Colin.

The author didn’t post on either recent thread on Sir Tom, or mention that Leeds United wore black armbands during their Everton game, with a minute of applause before kick-off, and a montage of images from supporters and members of the armed forces saluting his memory.

If others think it’s appropriate to use a ‘Sir Tom Moore’ thread to promote their own agendas, or get personal about me, so be it....

Tom, Captain Sir Tom comes from near Leeds, he served in the Armed Forces so I think it is entirely well deserved that the circumstances you describe took place, these gestures are non political just something to show how well liked Captain Sir Tom was.

The author if you mean me, I thought Eddie Nesbit did not deserve your comment. I am bored with your comments about the BLM organisation. People on this site are so nice, You think you can bore us with the MLM organisation. Please yourself, I will refuse to comment on your comments in the future. I am sure all will be well . Oh I must just say, I have never ever watched a football match . And I don’t wear my heart on my sleeve, but to make you feel better. I think Captain Tom was an amazing, sadly we never see the likes of him again. I do think we have lots of great young people.

Tom, why don't you just drop it. We all agree sir Tom was a remarkable man, and Eddie Nesbitt, acknowledged that and is respectful and pro him, more than,or at least the same as every one.

BLM is an to organisation to destroy all statues they think are connected to slavery 200 years ago. Local pubs must change their names , as some Streets etc. The fuss about the statue of Cecil Rhodes at Christ Church College Oxford. I have passed the college hundreds of times and never knew it was there. It is about 50 foot above the College, but the BLM want it down. It was a different time, we are destroying our history. As you never miss an opportunity to mention them, I get bored with it.
