A blast from the past

Talking Pictures has started running the classic tv serial The Lone Ranger this morning , It started on tv in the USA in 1949, on radio it was first broadcast in 1933. Great watching and listening for all western fans.

I just checked the listings and Saturday morning on Talking Pictures are going to be the old typical Saturday kids shows starting at 9AM through till noon with a film, a couple of cartoons, and a couple of classic serials which at the moment are the Lone Ranger and Flash Gordon. So settle down on the sofa, cheer the goodies boo the baddies, and watch every week to see if Flash Gordon escapes the clutches of Ming the Merciless.
