For those who sleep alone this night
Without someone to hold them tight
Whose lives are fraught and in a muddle
Their aching hearts deserve a cuddle

Let's wish them love, and a happy ending
Pray someone has a card they're sending
That pledges love for evermore
When the postman pops it through the door
