The late John King’s joke of the day…

GEORDIE HUMOUR
Geordie had worked at the brewery for years, but one day, he wasn’t paying attention and he tripped on the walkway and fell into a vat of beer and drowned. The foreman thought it should be his job to inform Geordie’s wife of her husbands’ death. He showed up at the front door and rang the bell. When she came to the door, he said, “Ah’m sorry te hev te tell ye, but poor auld Geordie passed away at work today when he fell into a vat of beer and droond.”
She wept and covered her face with her pinny and after a time, between sobs, she asked, “Tell is, did he suffer?”
“Ah divvent think so,” said the foreman, “he got oot three times te gan for a pee.”

Brilliant, I am still laughing , chuckle muscle exercise.
It reminds me, if I may , of a parallel story.
An account in a local news paper of a death by drowning of a Mr Smith who fell into a vat of french polish and downed . His boss when asked " did he suffer?' replied-- Ah don't know but he had a lovley FINISH !!
