did anyone see a large fireball about an hour ago,it came over heworth colliery heading towards gateshead,and descending all the time,one of my sons, also saw it,he is a nightshift driver, he had just left my house to pick his truck up at scotswood,he phoned me about five minutes after i saw it,he was at windy nook,and saw exactly the same as me, he said it just dissapeared,i would say it was about a quarter mile off the ground and quite big,someone else must have seen it, i think it must have come over boldon..

It could only have been a Meteor they are not Uncommon...

yes, ok james, but where is it?,it was coming down towards windy nook, so it must be somewhere?.

they usually burn up in the atmosphere and although they can be very bright they are usually very small.
