I haven't had any problems, it's a wee bit different but I find it fine.

Some people are all ways having trouble with Windows 10 ,including myself .I had the free version years ago , then went back to Windows 7 after a series of problems. I do use it now and it's been fine. All previous versions of Windows are no longer supported so we all have to use Windows 10 now. I dont think you'll get any programs on your new PC. Microsoft charge for Office so ,you will have to use some of the free Office software. Many new machines have a 60 days trail of an Anti-virus program ,then you have to buy it . Many free anti-virus .ie . Avira ,Avast & AVG. Your browsers may include Chrome and allways Edge. I advise you to download Mozilla Firefox. Two other programs well worth installing are Ccleaner and Malwarebytes.....both free. Windows 10 can be awkward to get into the workings ,but there is a nice little freeby called ClassicShell. This turns the [GUI] ,meaning the way it looks back to Windows 7. So, you have a start button with the tradition program layout and easy access to PC and your files. Please note ,your new PC can be daunting at first ......your not alone, practice makes perfect ,so spend some time with it.

Window 10 takes a bit of getting used to. I get fed up with it asking questions but that may be due to an error in setup.
I feel that W10 was designed for Computer Professionals not for Joe Bloggs and that’s where Classic Shell comes in.
If you want Microsoft Office It Costs. Look at all the options as can be expensive.
Re Firefox there may be going to be a problem with it according to a mag. I read a month ago cannot remember what that was. If I still have the mag. Will post.
There has also been comments about Classic Shell with the latest W10. Classic Shell is rather old and may not be compatible with latest W10.
It could be that Microsoft are making changes so that you have to use their software through W10 updates.
Regretfully if you need Windows you are going to pay for it.
The only solution is the Free Libra OS and their Office software.
To be clear, I have the top line Microsoft software W10; and Office 365, but I get it FREE through business. Therefore I stick with it.
Now all the info that the Mag’s ( like Computer Active) give out goes over my head and not really had time to go through stuff.
One of these days I will try to get my head down and go through the old Mag’s and sort out the Laptop.
I wish that my old Samsung was still alive. I miss it.
Good luck. But buy from a local computer store. Don’t buy online or at PC world as a small store will give you great help.
