Hotel catch up

A few weeks ago I mentioned a £38 and phone bill for trying to book a room at Travelodge in Hartlepool. I went to see the manager only to find he said it had nothing to do with him and sympathised with me. He also told me that Travelodge do not fix the prices of booking because it is left to to a subcontractor who does what he wants. Travelodge have nothing to do with the prices so he says and calmly told me to ask for him personally next time I stay there. Isn't this world full of comedians!!!

Hi Geoff I think that for Stan there will not be a next time booking at Travelodge. Companies who alienate clients find that not only do dis-satisfied clients become ex-clients but they tell 10 or more people who tell ten or more people....etc But seprately I do agree that it is best to book online with companies who offer the facility.
