in pain & despair

anyone can give me any advice on a pulled muscle in my upper , inner R leg which radiates into the groin? The pain is dreadful when I try to lift my R leg. I am already on a walking frame for a recent fracture of my left heel bone. The heel bone isn't so bad now but this muscle pull is getting me down. I did wear an air boot for 8 weeks, perhaps this affected my muscle balance...thank you.

Try 1-Paracetamol + 1-Ibuprofen IF YOU CAN !. The combination is more powerful. Or 2 Ibuprofen, follow dose given on the box.
Voltarol cream can help. Be careful where you apply it and wash hands after application.
Try a physio.
But light exercise will help but little by little to get muscle working again.
Cold compress "a bag of frozen peas" maybe wrapped on a small towel but be careful.
Try a Lavender bag warmed in the Microwave again be careful.
Its just finding what will work for you.
Fortunately I tend to be able to throw off injuries "SO FAR".
Elizabeth You could try holding a hot water bottle over the painful muscle while resting to relieve the pain as well as pain killers.I use Alka seltzer which is mainly aspirin and is disolved in warm water..
Quite simply your body is dehydrated. The muscle in your leg is cramping due to this. Try drinking lots of water regularly each day to prevent the muscle cramping. I had the same problem last year. Also using a walker after breaking my left femur bone. Hope it works for you.
