Covid and the Chinese
Posted by Michael Lynch on December 18, 2021, 14:26:36
It was nice to read (Allan Campbell) that someone else has dared to raise the threat of the Chinese attempt to dominate the world.
I now know that I am not alone in believing that “Covid” was a Chinese trial of “Germ Warfare”, which Trump correctly called it “The China Virus”.
For some reason Western Governments appear to be afraid to address this issue or raise this possibility. Since the pandemic, China has significantly (as stated by the new head of MI6) increased its influence in the world via its use of “debt traps” loaning money to smaller and poorer states so placing them unable to oppose China’s Global expansion ambitions. A recent survey shows that since Covid, China has gained financial control of some 174 "Third World" countries and thrown countries such as UK into financial meltdown.
Let us hope Western Governments will now wake up and take action to curb and thwart China’s ambitions.
Very true Michael, the Chinese are already trying to wangle their way into certain Commonwealth countries, why are we allowing it to happen, if only the Government would get to grips with things that matter to the UK they would, once again, regain the trust and popularity they should be enjoying.
I accept everything you say Michael, but there is nothing the world can do but accept the inevitable. Empires will continue to rise and fall as they have throughout human history. China will come to dominate the world or destroy it and that will depend on strength of resistance.
Hitler had it all in the bag in 1939 with his dreams of empire. Then he got impatient and invaded Poland. China has it all in the bag fight now…..but how much of a thorn in her side is Taiwan ? What goes around comes around and nobody ever learns from it.
I posted this a few years ago when discussing the Chinese. My husband told me my brother used to say, in the early 1960s, very unpolitically correct, that the little yellow men will rule the world. He died in Australia in 1994.
