Money from Government announced in the budget

The payment householders received from the government last month does not have to be paid back. If the payment in October has to be repaid back, can you refuse to receive the payment?

Just a suggestion : If you don't need it right away just bank it for a rainy day , wait and see if it is deemed repayable. Here at a shock to many when it had stopped raining they had to reimburse .
