Brian, this guy reminds me of Billy Bennett, the music hall king of monologues.- in the street of a lanterns to the north of Limehouse Reach..etc etc. Very witty and entertaining! The music hall king of late was the man himself Roy Hudd.It's such a pity there's no music hall today like Balmbras or the Pie and Tatties in Newcastle. Great entertainment by Great artistes.!

Stan,Balmbras is at present being restored to be like the original with a National Lottery Heritage grant,no date has been set yet for the opening

It won't be a music hall, if anything it might be a music venue. They have been working on it for a fair time, they started stripping it out a couple of years ago.
