Too hot at last site 32-36C so moved West 265 miles

About 50 miles to West of Toulouse. Nice site with more shade. Close to the Cannel du MIDI.
It got too hot to be out on the bike and very uncomfortable even sat in shade never mind the heat at night.
Did not climb Mont Ventoux as temp diff was 8 to 10 C but the main problem is that I would have to ride an additional 20 miles to and from the climb start.
However I did the first section up to the 1039metre level.
No bother at all should have gone on up to Chalete Reynard but need to get back before it got too hot. It can just about make you collapse.
I now ride ever 4 th day to allow recovery.
Lake of good WiFi causing problems as I lost 3 posts that I was going to send the WiFi just crashed.
The temp. This afternoon a bearable 29C.

Whilst it is nice to have sunshine, we don’t seem to be having very much of it, there is a limit to what one can take, think you were wise to get closer to the coast for a bit if a breeze.
Seems as though diesel is about the same in France as it is in the UK, we filled up at our local garage at the end of last week, were surprised to see both petrol and diesel at the same price £1.779!
