Bill can you blow up the handwriting, some of the dark background makes it hard to make out. I will play about with it on the pc later.

Top line - Yours Sincerely
next line is almost certainly a name but cannot decipher it
The rest of the message reads: Best Wishes for the coming year 1918.
I am sorry I couldn't work out the name its the most important part.
