Covid Testing

We were booked to go on a Med cruise from tomorrow.
The condition for boarding was proof of vaccinations and a Flow Test 24 hrs before boarding.
Went to the airport for the test and the proof cert for the ship only to find out that I was Positive.
Took a bit of believing, I have had 4 jabs,no syphons,nothing,how long I have had it I havnt a clue.How many others have it who are not aware of it ? the cases are being emptied at the moment !!

Sorry to hear you have lost your holiday Geoff. I hope you will soon be negative and can try to book another cruise.

Mac/Sheila,Thanks, Tui managed to get me back on the same ship with the same itinerary in few weeks time all being well. My annual holiday Insurance would have covered the cost, but like a lot of people I needed the holiday, rather than the refund

Pleased to hear you are rebooked as I can imagine the disappointment at having the cruise cancelled as a result of the Covid test. We are half way through our Mediterranean cruise on Britannia and took the test at home last Saturday before driving from Wakefield to Southampton. Although we had both tested positive a couple of months ago we were still concerned that either of us could have proved positive and the relief to get the certificates was immense. The cruise was booked about 18 months ago as its our Golden Wedding Anniversary next Friday so it is extra special. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your cruise.

Working at the cruise terminal last year people getting tested on the spot for covid. Lots of them not passing the test then getting told to go and wait then taking it again and it's a miracle it has gone all got on in the end. farce biggest con ever to put on people for the profit of drug companies ever.
