To be honest I do feel that Boris is wasting an opportunity to bring in a law regarding what happens to the economic migrants that rock up on our shores. |
I do feel that instead of having and paying for constant appeals, using lefty lawyers, the Government should have a Panel, made up of people from various professions, there should also be a couple of solicitors, who can be called upon for legal advice.
Once an illegal migrant has entered the UK they should be documented, those who donít have papers kept apart from those with paperwork, then they should be housed in holding centres, preferably within the constituencies of liberal minded MPís, they like the migrants so they should be the ones to encounter any issues, their constituents might not like the situation but hey thatís life.
The migrants should then be given the chance to put forward their arguments as to why they should be considered for asylum in the UK to the Panel, paid for by the Government i.e the tax payer, there should not be any legal representation. The Panel should consider each applicantís situation then they, and they alone, should decide who is given the right to remain. Once a decision on a migrant is given there should be no appeals, the migrant should be immediately deported, if they wish to appeal let them do so but at their own expense and in the country they are deported to.
Once a decision on a migrant has been made they should then go to another holding centre, preferably at a military airport, out of public view, then once a number of other failed asylum seekers are ready military flights should be ready and the migrants deported.
I am sorry but I am thoroughly fed up with the current situation, it is not what the majority of people in this country have voted for, the Government still have a big majority itís about time they made use of it.
