New housing Luke’s lane

I hope I am wrong and someone can correct me, but the plans for extra houses off Luke’s lane seem very close to the waterfowl park. The councils attitude seems to be destroying greenery in Hebburn saves them doing it elsewhere in the borough. Part of the attraction to these new houses was nice walks around there houses. This seems to be getting reduced.

Plans are for over the Metro lines from Monkton Marsh on the other side of Spuggies Bridge another obstacle for Swans etc to navigate. House building seems to be never ending in Hebburn.. Shame

I hope you are correct but it said in the Gazette the access to these houses would be from Luke’s lane and Holmes Drive, that is the end street of the new houses.
