Help please. itv hub - itvX

Is anyone experiencing difficulty with what used be itv hub. This app has recently been upgraded to itvX and since then, the sound is breaking up on my TV. All other apps and players are functioning as before. The customer service have suggested I perform 17 changes to my TV setup. Before I do this (and mess up everything else which is working fine) has any one else found a similar problem.

we did a couple of updates but we do a regular update anyway we haven't had any problems with it.

We cannot get it because we have an older Panasonic TV.

SANDRA. Can you get the other Apps / players such as BBCiplayer, 4, 5, NETFLIX, Prime video, NOW etc.
Although I don't use all these apps, I can get them without any bother. Only itv breaks up.
