Just read, David McCallum ,the actor who stared in the popular TV series " The Man from Uncle" & "NCIS" and many other shows died yesterday at the age of 90. Such a wonderfull actor. RIP

When he was doing the great escape Charles Bronson was supposed to say I'm going to take your wife. He did take her and they stayed married until her death.her name was Jill Ireland.

ColinI bought her biography and that’s was what Bronson said. Sadly Jill died aged just fifty four with cancer.

I read many years ago that David McCallum treat Jill Ireland very badly and that's when Charles Bronson got involved.

John, she never mentioned that in her biography . David McCallum was married to his second wife for 56 years, so she must have been happy, to stay 56 years.

I agree John, I’ve read lots of Biographies and so many contradictions from earlier books. I’m happily with Fiction in my old age. Fiction with a happy ending. I do like political diaries. They can be interesting.
