Labour’s Give away begins

Only 3 weeks after being voted into power and Labour are in talks to ‘loan’ the Elgin Marbles to Greece, once in Athens they will never be returned. Not only is Labour considering this but they are also holding or have held talks with Spain about free movement of certain people, this is the start of Labour drip feeding us back into the EU, I don’t think we have had a Referendum on this move or have I missed something??

Pensioners hit Winter fuel allowance cancelled

It will only be paid to those on certain benefits.

It will hit a lot of pensioners hard and they will have to cut back.

Those that have managed to stay away from benefits may now have to apply for some.

Other things that R. Reeves has said not good.

A lot of people are going to be hit.

She is now at the mercy of the Unions it appears.

I suspect that those of us that have private and or works pensions are going to be screwed in Octobers budget.

Yo7 will retain the winter fuel allowance if you are in receipt of Universal Credit, just typical of Labour hand pay increases to Union Members and take away from others.

So if you have worked hard paid your taxes, never claimed anything you are the ones being hit, arrive in the country in a dinghy you get everything, spent your ‘working’ years doing nothing but squandering your money you are able to retain the winter fuel allowance, I bet lots o& people who voted Labour now feel extremely betrayed and this is just the start of things to come.

I have seen a prediction of 10p on a litre of fuel in the October budget.

Those who voted Labour deserve everything coming to them, unfortunately those who had more sense will also suffer.

Any pensioner that is eligible for extra benefits should always apply for them, They've paid on and should not let pride stand in their way. I know working with disabled people when getting awarded certain benefits it could qualify them for other payments as a lot of benefits are linked.

Yes Liz, and all The immigrants will be allowed to send for their parents, who will be given winter allowance and every other allowance while we, who have worked all our lives and paid tax will have it removed. Yes this great Socialist state is what people voted for. I’m waiting for the socialists to tell how well off we will be.

It’s going to cost the government a lot of money working out who will and who will not get the winter fuel allowance, but they are so dripping with hate anyone who is not a card carrying Labour voter will suffer.
