Any repairs should include modifications to try to prevent future damage. As we head into more volatile weather.

To repair it as was, not an option I think.

The roadway leading onto the actual pier is a disgrace, more potholes on it than on the bloody moon, trying to get a disability chair on it is a nightmare, simple fix to fill them in but S.T.C. don't seem to give monkeys. (As usual).

Don't know who is responsible for the approach to the pier but the Port of Tyne is responsible for pier itself, not STC.

There are lots of Anglers still fishing the end after climbing around First gate wall. There's plenty of Mackerel being caught at the Moment.
