Ellison Hall bee keeping.

Does anyone know if the bee keeper is still at Ellison Hall? I have found a few exhausted bees lately and they're easy to revive. Just put a few drops of honey or syrup down and put the bee so it can reach it. I have a nest in the bungalow eaves and they're no bother at all which is why I find them on the garden path.

Bee keeper is in the park. He's taken over the old park house and is the process of doing it out as an educational centre for children and a tearoom he plans to have beehives in the back garden.

It was in the news a number of years ago that the Park's Bee Hives had been vandalised. I dont know whether the beekeeper continued with his work after that though.

Yes, he's kept going and is trying hard to get the house sorted out.

Who owns the House or is it being rented/hired from the Council and dose he have permission to keep bees so close to residential areas.

I see your concern about residential but honestly they won't attack unless they feel threatened. By that I mean people see a bee and wave like mad to rid it but the bee sees it as a threat and off it goes to get its mates ! And yes Norman there was that problem when he lost around 2,000 bees? I do hope he can make things happen.
