Why do we have to suffer this reunion of Oasis, one who has has a bag of chips on his shoulder and a mouth to beat Gordon Ramsey.What has happened to music. I've been playing guitars for 70 yrs and have met a few pop stars on the way but if this is music, I give up.- arrogance, foul mouth and rubbish entertainment I give up...

I agree Stan. They are craftily getting a lot of FREE publicity before they announce they are back.

Agree with you both, banal rubbish, from two self-seeking oiks.

Just a money thing to them, and the cost of tickets? Ridiculous.

I could find a dozen ways of spending £200+ instead of listening to their noise for a few hours!

Personally, I blame the parents !!!!

I saw them at the Stadium of Light not long before they broke up.

Me and thousands of others thought they were worth the money!!!

I have just been reading on-line the Manchester News and it say's ticket prices could be from £100-140.

And on the news this morning: Hotel prices near each of the venues have TRIPPLED

Thank goodness I have carefully planned not to attend!

Apparently hotels in areas where Oasis are playing are cancelling existing bookings in order to accommodate attendees at the various concerts, the rates they are offering are now going to be grossly overpriced.

Liz, See my post at 19:07. Apparently, when taken to task about it, the hotel group blamed a "computer error"

Yeah, right!!!

Current bookings were cancelled, and when customers tried to re-book, the price was THREE times higher....

Malcolm, I only saw it after I had posted mine, I hope that attendees of the concerts won’t be mad enough to pay the excessive prices but people do stupid things then complain about it later. Some friends of mine paid over £100 each for supposed VIP tickets to see UB40 in Newcastle on Friday night, apparently the only extra things they received were more loos, a few extra tables and chairs, they we’re, however, charged the most ridiculous prices for alcohol, a bottle of fairly mediocre wine was costing £35 in a supermarket it was the princely sum of £8:99, things were so bad they left at 9pm without having seen UB40 then complained about it!!!

Tickets going at £150+ in Manchester.
