Many many times at bus stop looking towards the Arches waiting for a bus to go to South Tyneside old Hospital to visit someone oh what a sad old Hospital that was.Had to get a bus from Hebburn to Tyne Dock a lot of years ago thanks Norman .

Looking at the bus behind the #17 I thought it looked too modern for pre WW2 but then I discovered it was a Short Brothers model probably from 1934.
There you go! More useless information!

The buildings to left and right when did they get demolished?

Vague memorise of them I think but they could have been long gone by the late 50’s, but I remember the Arches going to Shields when Dad got his first car 1953/55ish.
