Bob Noble posted me (snail mail) his memory from when he was a little Quay School lad living in Campbell St which was between Argyle St and the 'Wooden Bridge'.

Memory is a wonderful things it not !?
That 3lb of grey matter nestled in.and ,protected inside the cranium ,continually working from conception til death , and, even beyond ,we don't know. I see two sides to this phenomenon-- to remember, and , recall.

I try my best Bob, but coming up to 97 is wonderful, I still have awhile to go, i believe we should live each day as it comes you just never know what is round that corner!!!

Bob I only know you through this Hebburn Message Board, I greatly admire you for all your contributions, such an excellent memory of days gone by, we all love to hear your wonderful stories which many of us can relate to.
