My daughter who has been living and working in Dubai for the past 9 years has just past her AEU driving test, out of nacessity for getting to and from her place of work (New Job) and looking at new cars, The car that has caught her eye is the MG's which is now made by a Chinese company. However the Spec and designs are so good as Tesla, so makes you wonder why some Countries are banning or restricting their imports? especially the Plug-in cars as pricing is unbelievable and why we'er called Ripoff Britten. (Look at YouTube for MG cars)

Hi John, I just recently replaced the wifes' car. We fancied an MG, but the reviews were terrible.

Primarily the lack of spares. No-one seems to hold MG spares. Read several cases of people having their MG in for repair, and garages quoting up to 4 weeks for spares to arrive. So that's a month without your car!

I opted for a Renault Kadjar...

John I checked out the new version of the MG Trophy
the price and 8 year warranty excellent,down hill from there.very poor MPG for petrol model, highbrid only available in plugin with a very poor recharge distance. and one of the motoring magazines stated that the car was unreliable. I will stick with my new Qashqai
