you kind of savaged Robson Green so what do we think of Vera?. I love it, she takes me all over the North East and we get all those great Gordie accents.The other night she took me over the causeway to Holy island. they are all repeats but I don't mind, no sex or swearing, great stuff.

Love Vera, spend ages trying to work out where the settings are, it is only recently that I read lots of series were shot up in Glanton which is an area I don’t know that well.

It is a shame that Vera is coming to an end, I just wonder if there will be a spin off, sometimes they work sometimes they don’t.

Like you say Colin the Vera series was no swearing, no sex just good old fashioned stuff, but for people from the North East there is the added bonus of seeing the beautiful Northumbrian landscape, you just can’t beat it.

Yes it is brilliant to watch a tv series without any bad language or sex in it. We watched the first two series of Designated Survivor which we enjoyed. The third series was made by Net Flix what a difference - - full of sex of one type or another and bad language.

I didnt like how the producers of Vera used fictional names for some of our towns though.

I found that annoying to be honest as it used to take me ages to work out where the place was, sometimes I never worked it out, still enjoyed Vera though, it will be a miss.

Loved the locations but found the character to be totally unrealistic. Not a fan I’m afraid but do agree it shows you can make a popular show without having to include the obligatory bad language & sex scenes.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the Vera shows, I wasn't aware it was coming to an end and will miss seeing all that beautiful Northumbrian scenery, I have always looked forward each week to this show, no swearing, no sex, a joy to watch.

And yes it makes me quite home sick, I would love to see Northumberland again, this show has kept me in touch.
