In 1997 a young lady was raped & murdered in Stamfordham village close to Newcastle. He stabbed her 60 times and carved a swastica on her body. He has applied for release 5 times since and will finally be free thanks to the Parole Board.
That poor girls mother has fought to keep him locked up and is shocked he has won & is getting released. Absolutely disgraceful decision & it should be overturned. He is not classed as a sex offender because that charge was set aside for some strange reason.

I have been reading about this crazed individual, absolutely appalling what he did, these kind of people should never be released, again hanging would be the best idea.

In todays newspapers a Probation Officer has said that many of these criminals that are being released will reoffend, I sincerely hope that murder is not committed, if it is Starmer et al will have blood in their hands. If prisoners are to be released in order to free up places surely foreign prisoners should be sent back to their own countries, regardless of whether or not they might be in danger, just tough I say, that would free up about 10,000 spaces, if not enough then release people who have perhaps committed a fraud or the like, but please keep murderers, sex offenders and criminals of similar offences in jail, in the absence of hanging a Life Sentence should mean just that, no time off for good behaviour, did the victim get time off!!!

Releasing felons who have served around 30%-40% of their sentences has been going on for years but it looks like they have widened the remit. The worrying aspect of this case is the Judge said he must serve a minimum of 24 years before being eligible for parole/release. I always thought this was strictly adhered to.

Obviously someone hadn’t read the recommendations in this Case Brian it is very worrying.

I still believe sending Foreign Nationals, currently serving prison sentences in the UK, should be sent back to their home countries that would, I believe free up at least 10,000 beds, but hey what do I know!!!

An inmate released to day whilst being interviewed by the press said he didn't want released because the alternative was a park bench. He said that inside I had a warm cell 3 meals a day,a tv and a kettle

This Country has absolutely appalls me over the past 20-30 years with the soft approach to crime no matter how horrific the crime was and this Parole Board are not the real world. Lets hope someone will finish his punishment.
