How many MPs are there?

The UK is small compared to other Countries so why do we need 650 MPs.
In a post below it says our MP Kate Osborne gets a salary of £86500 per year plus expenses.
Here below is what people like her pay when in Parliament. She agreed Starmer's policy to hit us Pensioners aswell. These people are in this for the money and they live off expenses, so growing wealthier and wealthier at our expense.

Cheaper than Leslie's canteen back in the 60's. Yeh, let's take it from the Pensioners instead.

How do you except them to get along on just £84,500 Norman when the cod is £4.50!!
Thank goodness that the basic annual salary of a Member of Parliament (MP) in the House of Commons is actually £91,346 (since April 24).

In most hospitals the staff canteen has gone and franchises like Costa etc are in place. It costs more for a coffee than it does for the main courses in the parliament restaurants. The bars are subsidised too
