The £22bn black hole.

J. Hunt has said that the Economist has said the the £22 bn. Black Hole is in fact a £39bn surplus.
Now that would not surprise me. I know for a fact that you can make White is Black with money figures. I have done it and been on the receiving end of it..
When we moved house to Knaresborough the Hebburn Solicitors wanted £750 off us where in fact they owed us £750.
So we would have been £1,50O out of pocket. Thank goodness that I had already done all the sums and knew the figures to within a £100.
I took their bill into my works desk and run the figures my way and then had my boss run a check. His words still stick with me “ XYZ”
