Is this justice for a police Officer doing his duty

The Judge in the trial of the police officer being tried for murder of Chris Kaba ruled his name should be made public. After a not guilty verdict for the police officer, it was released to the media, that Chris Kaba had multiple previous criminal records and if he had not been killed would have stood trial for murder himself.

Absolutely, Sheila.

Kaba would have been arrested on at least TWO counts of attempted murder, and there was GSR (gun-shot residue) on his hands, probably from the shooting he was involved in the previous night.

No wonder he resisted the police officers....idiot!

And as to his family, sat outside the high court, demanding justice for Kaba, I think he GOT Justice!

And what about the two victims that he shot? Where is THEIR justice?

And if I were a Police Officer, I'd be asking questions of that family: Did you know what he was involved in? And that he carried a firearm, and used it?

Then arrest the lot of them for aiding & abetting..

I agree Malcolm and I hope they find the “friends” who have offered £10,000 for the police officers address. Mean while the brothers who attacked the police officers Manchester Airport, seem to have got away with it. The law seems two tied at the moment.

That Police Officer should never have been named, in this Country you are innocent until proven guilty, especially where a police and Forces personnel are involved, this man’s life is in ruins all because a murderer decided he didn’t want to be arrested.

Like you Sheila I am wondering when the thugs who kicked the police officers at Manchester Airport are going to be charged, I have read that Farage is support bringing a private prosecution, I hope he succeed, I would donate to any fund.

The only reason Chris Kaba's family are protesting is because the Police officer was found not guilty so they can't claim compensation now, he had multiple previous criminal records even one of carrying a gun. I tell you, this Country has lost the plot.

It makes me think, this government are determined to finish the job the Blair government started, re: Getting rid of hereditary Lords as no one voted them into The Lords. Why do we have to accept what appears to be mostly left wing Judges in our courts of law. Who appoints them and gives them so much power without a vote.

I don't know if high court judges are government appointed or approved, but you would think the government would have some involvement. The policeman shouldn't have been named, I believe this will put officers off from becoming firearms officers.

I have a 2nd cousin who was a Fire Arms Officer until very recently, he has now transferred to another division on o& the reasons for the transfer was because of the case we are discussing. My cousin has told me that many Fire Arms Officers feel very let down by the whole affair.

I was also dismayed by the response given by Roly, The Met Police Chief, on the steps of Scotland Yard the other day, to my mind that man is a total waste of space, he is most certainly not a person to look up to sooner he is gone the better.

Indeed, Brian. When that officer was charged, over 100 firearms officers handed in the firearms license.

That SHOULD have sent a clear message to the CPS, etc

It was the same story in Northern Ireland, they hounded the soldiers involved for years and. I believe are still at it. (Compensation)!

Same was happening to armed forces who had served in Iraq, I just don’t know why successive Governments have not put a stop to all of this nonsense, it makes my blood boil at times!!!

Malcolm, the CPS is also known as the CRIMINALS PROTECTION SERVICE , which a lot of people think it actually is.
