British Legion spend

Why do these people in charge of Charities do this that upset people who would always contribute. I’ve just read they are employing someone as Diversity Boss on a salary of £80,000 a year. Already people are now saying they won’t buy a poppy . Lots of them ex military.

The salaries that they offer are verging on extreme, that position won't be a top boss, never see any of these well paid paper shufflers out selling poppies, its down to volunteers out in all weathers.

We have been having a big rethink about how Forces Charities are run and mismanaged, we have read that many of these Charities how millions of pounds festering away in bank accounts doing nothing.

My husband and I have discovered a ‘new’ Charity that have a drop in place for veterans, this place has just recently opened in Hereford we haven’t, as yet, been to see what is on offer but we will most certainly be paying them a visit to see how it is operated, I think the British Legion might just have shot themselves in the foot with the new appointment.

I think the best charity is the 'Salvation Army'.
No executives on thousand of £s per week salaries.
