More proof Rachel Reeves lied

This clip accuses the new so called

Chancellor of the Exchequer of lying on her CV. Apparently she was no higher up at the Bank than the girls on the counter.
If we lied on our CV's,our bosses would have sacked us as soon as they found out so will Starmer demote her???
She must be a really brazen person because she will be relying on faceless people in her department to look after her.

The whole lot useless. I wonder what is the ability of every MP of all parties is.

Could they organise a boose party in a You know what.

There are a massive amount of new Labour MP’s how many are able to run a small business. Don’t know anything about the Liberals.

Remember the small percentage of pushy people you came across in your life? who 'knew everything' when in fact they knew 'nowt'. Those are the ones who got into politics as it was a well paid career.
Like Allan said, how many of them could run their own Business? not many!

I was good at my job dealing with large amounts of “ Paper” money and not my own. I was reasonably good at organising various things.

Could I have run my own business not really but could have been part of management if the type of business suited me. Well I think so.

My problem is I don’t like the money side if it’s my money.

I think that many people could run a company but the £ side is let’s say the killer.

My daughter and son-in-law are very good business wise as they were both on the banking world and very good at hands on stuff as and when. Some of the renovations that they have done astound me, the vision required!

However if it comes to running a country very very few have the ability. I suspect the current lot are sadly lacking.

The question I would ask is: after 14 years of the Conservatives how are the NHS, Doctors/Dentistry, Armed Forces, Roads, Railways, Care Homes, local council funding, Elderly Care, Water Companies, Power generation all doing and also what about compensation re inflected blood scandal or Post Office scandal, or when will the 11000 tower blocks that still have illegal cladding be sorted? The firs asylum seekers in boats arrived in 2015 so it’s been entirely an unresolved Tory issue for nearly 9 years.
Taxation has been at record levels not seen since the war. I don’t think anyone can argue that things have somehow improved in any of the above areas so it’s hardly an endorsement for Tory fiscal policies or expertise. Remember Liz Truss’s economics?
I could go on but honestly this constant having a go at Labour is just so futile. They’ve had a few months and made stupid errors but they’ve done nothing illegal (such as non-dom wives, or denying £50000+ donations for decorating a pad until emails revealed the truth, or lying to the Queens face and to Parliament, or £billions to friends and relatives for PPE).
Why not go back to the good old days of Mike Ellisons Hebburn.org website and just ban all politics, sport and religion?.
It was a far happier board.

You mustn’t be old enough to remember the 1970’s. k Starmer has already told us, we will pay more tax and it will never be changed. People have short memories . The Tories had Covid to deal with and we were lucky to be able to use our scientists who were fantastic. We could not have done it if we were tied to the EU at the time. We can complain about them all, but my memories are of how Labour have always been good at spending other people money. So far they have been able to give billions to the Unions and the civil servants, from the 22 billion black hole supposedly left by the Tories. Oh and we’ve still not heard how they are going to stop the illegal I migrants. More boats so far than this time last year. Sorry you are not as happy with the board as you were with Mikes. I liked Mikes board and am very happy with Normans board.

The source is the Boardhost records which shows the posts made in the name Bill Patterson and Ged using the same IP address.
I am sure you know that An Internet Protocol (IP) address is the unique identifying number assigned to every device connected to the internet. An IP address definition is a numeric label assigned to devices that use the internet to communicate.
It is possible that someone has hi-jacked your IP. But I don't know which of you is which. We will keep a close eye on posts appearing in the two names since at this stage the IP address has not been banned.

And if you cared to look at the top of the Home page, it tells you who the Admins are.

We post under our admin names, IF it's an administrative post.

Otherwise, we post under our own name, if we are contributing, or commenting...SIMPLES.

You answered the wrong person Ged. I asked the question about PC and router as Admin2.
So Bill Patterson is using the same IP as you. Now that you are alerted you need to do something about it.

Ged. The fact is that you and Bill Patterson are using the same IP address. And the information remains the same wherever it is viewed.
So what you need to do is find out if you have been hi-jacked not get prickly with people who have spotted the issue!
Have you tried looking for a solution?
Just a question do you use a library computer or share a router in some other way?

I've just read through this thread this morning. I've checked the Boardhost Logs to see Ged uses Windows 10 on his computer.
The Bill Paterson person uses a Mac but it is definitely using the same router eg in a Library

Ged,If it will be of any help I was a accused on here of posting under several names, which I wasnt but the offenders were on the same IP as me, how I don't know.
What I did was to ask Norman to delete all of the posts including mine which were using that particular IP Address and that I would to get a new IP address, which I did and since then have not had any further problems.
