Gerry Roberts & classmate team up with an Innovation

Businessman Gerry Roberts in Colorado & Stephen Mongan in England have been working together on various innovations recently.
I had a phonecall from Gerry last night and he'd like to hear any comments.

The family have two wood burners and use wood that we cut from deadfall and the like.

We live out in the sticks so not a problem with neighbours.

However if you live in a town you may have a problem. In some places woood burners not allowed I understand and there was going to be legislation on them.

In the past some people were putting all sorts of rubbish in their burners. One guy was putting off its from the timber company that he worked for and it was nasty stuff exotic woods. The council had to step in .

That case was about 15 years ago and our friends who were near the chap moved and probably both now deceased.

I have no idea on the market for wood burners but with them both success.

I wish them every success, but the information about wood burning fires is confusing, as you often read thry sre goung to be banned, perhaps you hsve dorcialwood to burn. I know it has to be dried which I was told ,( so it could be wrong) It takes five years for wood dry.

A question, Where does the wood come from to fuel projects like this ? Canada has one of the largest resource of tree's in the world BUT is gradualy phasing it out as a use for comercial and domestic fuel. It is my understanding it exports timber, wood, by ship to many countries Including the UK., for comercial use. The ships mostly use oil based fuel. Makes me wonder about the polution created using wood for industrial fuel ?
