Info on Titanic

Was watching Antiques Roadtrip on TV earlier and they found a mag to auction from 1912 about the Titanic tragedy. It took 4hrs for ship 'Carpathia' to reach Titanic's last known position and they picked up 700 survivors.How amazing! The 'Carpathia' was built here on the Tyne.

Yes and she was torpedoed and sunk by U-Boat U55, 120 miles South off Fastnet, Ireland, on the 17th of July 1918.
