Nuisance mail

I am totally chalked off with the rnli sending me their begging letters via email and mail. I have as many of you know I've been part of an enterprise team for well over 10 years. I am with the majority who will not donate while they operate the channel taxi. I can see funding has taken a massive hit which is why I get the begging mail. I've written to them twice but fat cats don't have hearing aids and they need a Specsavers visit. It's annoying as it is too frequent.

Stan, maybe your 2 letters to the RNLI have been too ‘nice’ maybe a few forceful expletives might assist, sometimes a bit of force hits the nail in the head, reason by all means but hit them where it hurts these people don’t seem to be listening to what ‘Joe public’ are telling him, maybe when all donations dry up they might take notice?

Liz, the sickening part is they cannot see the wood for the trees and we will have NO RNLI left by the time Starmer and clowns are done. They have wrecked a vital life saver. Tomorrow they will get a phone call they wont forget in a hurry!

Good on you Stan, tell them how it is, most people are sick to death if the various taxi services provided to migrants.

Totally agree with you Stan, as an ex merchant seaman I know how important the RNLI is but I like you and many others will NOT donate anything as long as they and the "Border"CONTROL provide a free taxi service for the Invasion of Britain

Well said Billy. I wouldnt give the RNLI a penny.
Normally the Crew of a Lifeboat live close by in a seaside town and have proper Jobs. Then when they get the emergency call they drop everything and race to the Station, get kitted out and the off to save lives.
That cannot be happening in Dover where it looks like a full time job aiding Invaders to sneak into our country. Every boatload they bring here instead of returning them to France costs us Tax Payers a fortune. They all get well looked after plus benefits, possibly for ever more if they cant get jobs on 'Just Eat' & 'Deliveroo'

It’s so sad, the RNLI are a wonderful rescue service with the emphasis on emergency, NOT providing a free taxi service to illegals. I feel sure most of the volunteers are being forced into this by their management.

I agree with you all. It has taken one man to destroy a vital service that has saved countless lives. I rang today only to be told to put it in writing!everytime it advertises on your tv is costing £T of pounds per minute. I'm not finished yet..

An RNLI advert asking for donations has just popped up on my PC and in it is a facility to complain and tell them why your not donating its quick any easy and getting to the people that matter Go onto their website and start typing it will have far more effect than complaining on here

Had a lenthy reply from the RNLI today.
In a nutshell they say that "OUR PRIMARY ROLE IS TO SAVE LIVES AT SEA WITHOUT JUDGEMENT OUR MISSION IS TO SAVE EVERYONE" and finished by saying any comments you have regarding immigrants should be directed to the Home Office
So this proves that you can get a quick reply from them

I've had replies as Norman will verify but they do
not intend to stop the taxis which is what we all want if the truth was known. It is Border force who should be responsible for stopping the immigrants and let the RNLI do their work. It is the public paying for these taxis, not the government. Crews lost wages, fuel, etc. We are wasting our time as Starmer will not stop this.

I agree with all comments .Read the local deaths in newspaper yesterday and today there were two donations to RNLI in there memory have seen the odd one before they must still be getting money in .

They have removed me from mailing lists adverst etc and have apologised as well as a nice thank you for the 10 years I put in with enterprise team. No mention of the taxis! Didn't expect it...

The Hartlepool boffshore boat takes an average of 5 mins from pager to bathouse. The crew are still pulling the protection on as they run down the ramps and onto the boat. Total time can be 8 mins or more. That is fast believe me!I'm begging to wonder now about it all as the Trent boat will do around 25 knots and that's flat out in calm seas. Across the channel? It all takes time.... Good point Norman...
