Wonders of wonders today and tomorrow

We have snow falling and low temperatures but two forecasts that I have looked at say that early tomorrow morning the Temperature will have risen to 13 or 14 degrees. Eh! Where did that come from.!!!

Allan C, maybe not finger trouble, we are on 3 degrees right now, driving rain/sleet, rising to 13/14 overnight!

In-laws currently stuck on the Rest & Be Thankfull (a notorious mountain road NW of Glasgow)

I was there many years ago probably before 1960, cannot remember it though.

The weather forecast has been bad for a few days so why go there unless it’s in a traveling route but even then!

Have to Google it to see if I remember it.

Last time there I think was Mum and Dad taking me to Inveraray mid 50’s.

I notice the old road below the A83 looks great for cycling.

Quite a few Roads like than going up to Thurso.

Sham that I’ll never now get to ride them. The mind will but the body won’t.

Earlier this week we had snow and minus 4/5 degrees, yesterday was minus 3 during the day, now it is plus 13 degrees torrential rain and quite windy, more of the same tomorrow, that’s life, weather wise, living in the UK!!!

Possible flooding tonight.

I expect some minor flooding on the road outside our house but I cleared a drainage gully a week or so and it’s not now covered in leaves.

In Knaresborough yesterday and saw photos of the Nidd overflowing some weeks ago.The two bridges covered with water and I understand that some houses along the riverside are flooded.
