Postcard photo dated (posted) 25th March 1909. Addressed local to Mrs. Hardy, 41 Charlotte Street, South Shields.

Nice traditional looking church. I believe the metal fence was removed during WW11 to be used to make munitions and never replaced. When the Market Square was bombed part of the graveyard ended up in the Market Square. I dont know if the graveyard was ever re established. Nice photo Peter.
