The Snow today and maybe overnight

At the moment we have about 8-10” and it’s still snowing.
Unless there is a big change not much is going to move out to the West of Harrogate.
I know that the A59 Harrogate to Skipton is closed again due to a landslide but this lot will make things worse.
Our son travels around the NE each day, about 200 miles visiting farms etc. he has enough sense not to risk it.
Will our granddaughter be able to get to Leeds tomorrow I doubt it and will probably work on line.
Going out in these conditions is foolish even if the gritters have been out.
Hope there is a thaw soon by put it could be back next week so they say.
