Like him or loath him, the thing about Trump is he is putting his Country first, why, oh why can’t we, in the UK, have Prime Ministers of whatever colour, put our Country first and foremost and not everyone else.

I am really pleased Mr Trump is the new president.
He's not in it for the money like a lot of our Politicians and Councillors are.

My post of the 18 was criticised as interfering in USA politics by saying that there were going to changes t the world.

The USA is fantastic country to visit and regretfully I never shall be able to.

I shall not comment on the new President as that would be political.

Have a dear Cousin buried in a Veterans Cemetery in America .Her husband is a veteran so she was allowed to be buried there nothing political with myself she came very much to mind watching president Trump .

I watched it. I thought Melanie Trump, looked so elegant. I had read that Michelle Obama would not accompany her husband, I felt sorry for him. It was on National TV so people are bound to comment. No politics just people watching.

Obama when he was made president.Trump did not attend if true maybe that was the reason .

Maria, Trump attended Obama’s inauguration but, Trump did not attend the inauguration of Biden.

I was going to say you’re probably right Maria, but just noticed Liz’s post. I did read she wouldn’t go to President Carters funeral , because President Trump would be there. Obama and Trump sat next to each other and were photographed have a chat and laughing. Of course that was before the service started.

Geordieboy ns, I loved the hat, although it hid most of her face, which was a shame as she is beautiful.

Melanie always wears something tasteful, she always looks the ‘part’, I guess it must be nice to have unlimited funds at your disposal, I think I preferred her outfit that she wore at the first inauguration, but yesterdays was quite regal.

Yes Liz, the blue dress was lovely and I read no designer would dress her as they disliked her husband. She didn’t need them she look amazing.

Sheila,I agree with you it's a shame to cover her face with THAT hat but it seemed to work keeping Trump from giving her a kiss.
