If money goes to Spouse partner no tax but if it’s going to their children tax it.

Geordieboy ns, there should be no cut-off..

Everything you, or we, have earned, has already been taxed many times over...

So to leave what you have, to whomever, SHOULD be tax free...

It's a c**p way of inept governments, to squeeze some money, out of those least likely to kick back about it. i.e the dead!

Malcolm, I agree with you here in Canada,depends which service, police for example, the spouse ofthe decesad contributor receives a percentage of the
Pension, aprox 60 percent, on that person's death the pension stops. Nothing for children.
