thanks for that Peter, I bet that Park cost some money in its day, They have always done well (South Shields) for a place without industry.

I wonder what The Lodge was used for. Looks to big for a park keepers house, perhaps a medical facility of sorts. Nice picture thank you.

1901 Census, hopefully right place. It was the only household that came up with a search for North Marine Park, South Shields
