South Shields ferry

A photo i have showing the old North Shields - South Shields ferry called South Shields. She was built by Wood, Skinner Co. Ltd., Bill Quay in 1911 and was broken up in 1968 by Clayton & Davie at Dunston. Also on view is the hopper TIC 25 and she was built in 1924 by Palmer's Shipbuilding & Iron Co., Hebburn and was broken up in 1968 by Hughes, Bolckow at Blyth.
