A day out to Shottley Bridge in 1922 for the staff of Cooper's fish and chips shops. Cooper's had shops in Catherine Street, Ocean Road and Mile End Road.

Never heard of that bus maker Tilling-Stevens.

Arn’t they all well dressed and the shoes and boots polished up to the nines.

Bit of a drafty ride for them all.
