Pearson Street, South Shields after the air raid 9th-10th April 1941.

Pearson St. I think that one of my great grandmothers sisters family lived in that street early 1900’s house have to check that.

I can’t recall the family name or full address.
But it was Perkinsville Pelton.I must have been
seven years old at the time.

John White, my sister and I were sent to Espatria, a farm then a house people by the name of Scott. Remember as clearly as day standing in a lineup on a street in the rain with a gas mask in a cardboard box hanging round my neck and a name tag pinned on my jacket didn't have a clue what was going on. About the same age as you were.
