What a coincidence

My Granddaughter who is a trainee nurse was helping a distressed lady patient who was to have an operation, the lady was very upset and my granddaughter held her hand into the operating theatre and stayed with her during the operation, when the lady woke she was so pleased that my granddaughter was still with her and her family are going to contact the Hospital to say how pleased they were for her support. On checking the ladies records my granddaughter was amazed to read that her two first names were Patricia Hardy, the same as my late wife and Olivia’s Nanna !

Nice story Mac.

Speaking of coincidences, my late mum more or less had a season ticket at the QE during the last years of her life, it is amazing but when mum passed away i put her house up for sale, the person who bought the house turned out to be a nurse who had looked after mum during her many stays at the QE.

Sorry Liz.Your mum would have been happy who bought the house .Strange how things happen my youngest son who I was expecting when I worked at John Lewis they are expecting first baby said we got our pram yesterday all the places they had looked got it from John Lewis has gone full circle just felt nice about it .

Yes mum woukd have been delighted that someone she knew had bought the house.
