No leisure wear in those far off days, but the 'Geordies' still enjoyed a day at the beach 'taking in the Sea air'

Judging by the shadows the sun well up but still in the east say 11am?

All well wrapped up maybe a chilly Easter?

Wonder if some brave soul had a dip?
