so easy to start a fire..I put a small 9volt battery into my pocket intending to dump it but getting out of the car I just put the car keys into the same pocket and within one minute it was too hot to handle. If I had left it any longer it would have melted and even caught fire..so be safe, never put a 9volt battery in the same drawer as paper clips or any other metal objects..
