Trump V Zelensky the real reason

Yes it was like a scene of the OK coral, total bullying, one brave man against the greed of the US, yet no one clicked on the reason of this meeting was not for peace, it was for the minerals, Elon Musk, needs Lithium and the other component's for his electric vehicles and other device, the same as Putin want them for weapons, it was not about peace it was for power, they wanted the deal weapons for the minerals, lets use see what our joke PM will try and indeed NATO the other joke I can only hope that the rest of the so-called EU see that too.

Not watched the clip of the meeting ( or was it an Ambush!) deliberately.

Will read or watch it on Sunday.

Just reading what board members have written plus in the newspapers.

T & V have demeaned the great USA. I would assume Musk is in the background somewhere.

The Trump administration is an abhorrence. 1,000’s loosing their jobs on a whim proven by the efforts to get them back to work.

The USA deserves better than that lot.

By the events of yesterday Putin is in ascendancy and no doubt Xi of China will take advantage.

If the likes of Putin and Xi take over countries, the lives of people in those countries totally destroyed and sent to CAMPS. That’s the way they work.

Yesterday could well hasten a war.

In my Scuba diving days we had quite a few Americans join our club and dive with us when they were off duty.

One guy Flip married a local girl,Tony, from our club and would fly to join us in Scapa Flow and he on one occasion had to take 7 flights to get from the mid west to Orkney. He was a great chap.

His wife Tony flew over from the mid west to look after another of our lady divers that had cancer and looked after her for over 6 months until Di died, Flip visited as often as he could.

Another two chaps also flew over for Di’s funeral.

I think I knew 7 Americans in our club but only two closely.

Yes Ken, that's excatly what the meeting was all about minerals and resources, you could hear it in their voices, Trump was after something! and his VP. The world knows what a crook he is now.

Listened to the WHOLE meeting this morning, and it was going VERY well, when out of the blue, the VP verbally attacked Zelensky, and Trump just joined in, like a play-ground squabble.

Trump kept saying about "making a deal" and this will all be sorted..... WELL, he certainly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory there....NO deal signed.

Well Done Mr Trump!!!

Vance recently lectured Europe on free speech. I didn't detect any free speech being allowed when Vance and Trump attacked Zelensky yesterday and constantly shouted him down.
An absolute disgrace.

The showed no respect to Zelensky who doesn’t use English as a first language, I guess with hindsight he should have had a translator present, poor man didn’t seem to get the gist of the fast moving conversations.

Ken I think you're right on the nose about the minerals and Musk. As I said on another thread, money, power and adulation are the only things Trump cares about.

I’ve just read , the chief of NATO, Mark Rutte (Dutch) has warned Zelensky, he needs to find a way to restore his relationship with President Trump. Whether we like it or not, our safety at the moment depends on NATO. ( at the moment that means America).
