Just saw it on Ebay

I just spotted one of my 'Good old Hebburn 2' books on Ebay.It had my name removed from the front cover and it is the same price as a new one.
I think someone might have bought it to scan the photos for a website and is getting his full money back by selling it.

Norman, your books must be around the globe. I only have one dog eared book but cherish it. When I meet my maker it's going back to my family in Geordie Land. How I miss the NE UK.,

Weird how they would take your name off the cover. Wonder why they did that?

Have you reported a copyright infringement to ebay and asked for the post to be taken down?

My friend Ken Wood who often gives tech advice on here (as Ricky does aswell) has already reported it to Ebay for me Mac. I get well looked after

Norman my copy of that book only has your name on the spine and on the preface page which has a photo of your good lady and yourself.

If your name had not been removed would you still object.

I have three of your books plus the pair of Barry and Vince’s book all in pristine condition.

They are on my bookshelf and only occasionally taken down to look at.

Sometime this year I will be having a clear out of books, 50 have already gone. 2 Important ones a sent to Kevin Blair.

If and when I decide to clear out more books the 5 mentioned will hopefully go to a Hebburnite.

Do you know if the British Library has copies of yours.

You are right Allan,
I checked and they didnt have my name on the cover, just on the spine like you say.
I had intended having the name & price on them like this sample below,then must have changed my mind .

I have gave books to our Local Libraries Sheila but not the British Library.
As I self published Sheila and only produced a small number I didnt get a ISBN number. To tell the truth I didnt know what that was for

Norman, I only know from working with a guy who looked after the UKAEA library. Legally every book that is published, one must be sent to the British Library.
